We generally recommend spot-washing* your robe unless the level of filth calls for more extreme cleaning measures, or, limiting a full wash to every 3-6 months depending on how often you use it. The EVO boasts a PFC-free DWR waterproof outer which will perform better the less intense cleaning it is subjected too, so as a general rule, only wash it when it’s particularly stinky or filthy.

The EVO boasts a PFC-free DWR waterproof outer which will perform better the less intense cleaning it is subjected too, so as a general rule, only wash it when it’s particularly stinky or filthy.

After the first 4-5 full washes you’ll need to boost the DWR with a special outdoor kit washing liquid (Grangers or similar). Avoid laundry detergent as much as possible as it is designed to break down grease and oils, and the DWR coating looks similar to these to detergents, so avoid adding this to the wash.
For best results, try washing and drying your robe inside out as the outer layer will dry quickly while the fleece will take longer. If possible, dry flat in the sun, but in wintertime, hanging your robe in a warm spot will speed up drying.
*Spot cleaning your robes: For any grease-based marks spot cleaning with washing up liquid is recommended.

Rated 8k waterproof and 5k breathable, the 2-layer EVO outer shell features a waterproof membrane and PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) coating, ensuring optimum water run-off.
Constructed in fully recycled polyester, this environmentally-friendly material is durable, highly packable and quick-drying – plus it looks and feels great, with a premium matt finish and high warmth-to-weight ratio.
The EVO inner is constructed in super-cosy, moisture-wicking, luxurious 300gsm Sherpa fleece. This deep-pile lining is softer and warmer than typical fleeces, providing exceptional comfort and insulation.

I am 180cm (5'11") and purchased a very roomy large robe, which provides the added length but does not result in abnormally long gorilla sleeves. I was on the height cut off of medium and large, and chose to size up resulting in a robe that is NOT form fitting or shapely, yet I wanted a spacious unrestricted cocoon to zip into after a cold swim. The robe has refined stitching and accents, constructed with high quality durable fabric creating a luxury purpose built sports garment. The plush lining is like you're being hugged by a polar bear. You want to live in this robe. So.....glad I purchased this robe and highly recommend it. Wow! What a change robe! I love it! Wanted a robe as I had seen many people wearing them and I didn`t have anything that was both warm and waterproof! I decided on the Pro Change Robe Evo as I liked the styling and colours available and the features of the robe. Living on the East Coast it can often be cold and wet but this robe deals with anything you can throw at it. Quality is second to none with sturdy zips and pockets that will keep your valuables safe and dry! The outer has no problem dealing with the wettest conditions and the inner keeps me nice and toasty whilst also providing plenty of room should I need to change out of and wet clothes after a day at the beach. Actually, to call this robe amazing is an understatement!

I had been looking for a winter dog walking coat for some time as my previous one seemed to have shrunk around the waist over the summer. I saw a review of this and have to say it is one of the best coats I have ever owned. It is fantastically warm and the long length gives great coverage in the rain.
I am 5'10'' and went for the medium and it is a great fit, at 17 stone there is plenty of room inside and so far I have only needed a merino base layer underneath to be toasty but there is plenty of room for layers as the weather turns colder.
Th only minor downside for me is the sleeves are just long enough when out walking but I can see how they are cut for it to be an effective changing robe so shouldn't quibble really.
If you need something super warm that keeps out the elements for walking your dog this should be high on your list as an excellent value choice, I am very pleased with mine.
